the death of paranoia

$5000

a 6ft by 7ft acryllic painting made in my senior year of high school (age 17).

my senior year concentration focused around the idea of the future of fashion and how that played with ideas of fantasy and unreality as we moved into an increasingly virtual reality age. this was the last piece created for the concentration, titled the death of paranoia. i wanted to explore what it meant to manifest your emotions into physical representations through art, and then to destroy those emotions through the same medium. what impact does that have on the real life emotions they were based on?

the piece took around a month or so to finish, working anywhere between 1-4 hours on it every day.
